Adhesive vinyl can be used to create impressive and effective window, wall and floor graphics. Dependent on the outcome you are trying to achieve, the type of adhesive vinyl you use is absolutely important. For instance, if you use a wall vinyl on an entire window, that window will now act like a wall. In other words, no one will be able to see in or out of it. In each section below we will show the proper adhesive vinyls to use for the best outcomes.

Exterior Window Graphics

We will start with one of our favorites, Perforated Window Vinyl. The above image shows how perforated vinyl can look when viewed from the exterior side of the window. During the day it can pass for a solid vinyl display that does not allow any show through. However, when viewed from the interior side below, you would not believe there is a window display there at all.

The outcome is a huge Window Graphic display without losing the use of your window. Awesome, right? We also know some tricks that will help you achieve the most eye-popping displays with the least amount of show through. But we only share that info with our clients, not the world. 😉

Interior Window Graphics

Perforated vinyl and opaque window film used to create a interior window display.

For the above Interior Window Graphics display we used two different window films to create a dual effect. The top half, like the Exterior Window Graphic in the first section, is a Perforated Window Vinyl. We do not recommend the use of Perforated Window Vinyl on most interior window displays, because when the light source is equal on both sides, you can easily see through the graphics. However, this is exactly what the intention was when designing this display. Our client wanted to be able to see into the meeting room when it was not in use. When it is in use, they would close the blinds on the inside. Consequently eliminating the light source from behind the display and then the Window Graphic would look solid.

Our client wanted the bottom half of the Window Graphics to have no show through at all. Here we used an Opaque Adhesive Vinyl Film to achieve this. To sum up, we understood what our client wanted, we knew the materials needed, and we produced the perfect solution. 🙂

Vinyl Wall Graphics

Vinyl Wall Graphics used to create an atmosphere in a business conference room.

Vinyl Wall Graphics are an excellent way to display promotional information, advertise your business, motivate your employees or decorate your workspace. There are many different types of materials to choose from such as vinyl, fabric and wall paper. For example, to get a matte finish like the one in the image above, we would use FabriTac. FabriTac by Ultraflex is a removable, adhesive fabric that may be mounted to any surface and repositioned countless times.

The large Wall Graphic pictured above decorates the hall of one of our clients. We used a adhesive vinyl material called Roodle. Roodle by Mactac is a white semi rigid vinyl designed for removable indoor wall graphic applications on smooth, flat surfaces. We applied a gloss laminate to add pop to the image and depth to the solid black surrounding the logo.

The Wall Graphic display pictured below is a combination of die-cut adhesive vinyl and 1/4″ acrylic letters. The adhesive vinyl is a Premium Cast White Vinyl Film from Graphcal.

Vinyl Floor Graphics

Innovative placement of strategic marketing designs can help improve brand recognition, build customer relationships or communicate important information. Floor graphics have become a popular way to to get your message to your customers and clients. With so many people walking around looking down at their phones, it seems to make sense. 😉

When creating Floor Graphics, we use slip resistant adhesive vinyl made to be walked on. They can be displayed indoor or outdoor on many different surfaces dependent on the material used. Most efficient when placed in areas of high foot traffic and consumer-friendly spaces or where social distancing is required.
